EXTRA CURRICULUM

The academic year is marked by various activities which, though outside the curriculum are essential components for the overall development of a child. And we are not the only ones saying it.
So, a typical year in Vatayan School will have the Annual Fete(Anand Mela), Annual Day function, Independence and Republic day celebrations, sports competitions, USO exams, celebration of major calendar event like Saraswati Puja, Children’s Day and Teaher’s Day, interclass quizzes, interschool debate, chess competitions.

SCHOOL MAGAZINE

Vatayan School has been taking out a magazine of the same name. It is a piece of work done entirely by the students under the guidance of teachers. We have to admit that we are irregular with the issues. Ideally, we would like it to become an annual publication and we are working towards that goal.

LABORATORY

Adequate importance is given to practical work and so we have a well equipped science lab. As per CBSE guidelines we also have a Math lab. We have a fully function computer room with regular practical for all classes from Std. I onwards.

LIBRARY

There is a full- fledged library with more than 2000 books- fiction, non- fiction, reference material, periodicals, etc. – which support the curriculum and other needs of the student.
